STATUS
Summer visitor with a few winter records.

ABUNDANCE
Scarce in general though relatively numerous in some parts.

HABITAT
Pastureland, grassland and cropland. Sometimes in clearings, dehesas and hilltops.

SEASONAL BEHAVIOUR
The bulk arrive in March and leave in August-September, through there are records in every month of the year.

DISTRIBUTION
Most frequent in the campiña of Guadalquivir valley, though could easily be seen in any of the four provinces. Overwintering birds have been recorded in Huelva and Córdoba.
