STATUS
Migrant.

ABUNDANCE
Rare.

HABITAT
Cliffs and crags in general as well as pastureland and modest outcrops in patches of scrubl.

SEASONAL BEHAVIOUR
Recorded on both spring and autumn passage.

DISTRIBUTION
Seen very occasionally in all four provinces, favouring Jaén slightly.

COMMENTS
There is a record of two males singing on the rocky peak of El Puntal (at nearly 1100 masl) in late April 2002, taken to be a breeding attempt; nonetheless there have been no subsequent records in that site or in others with similar habitat, so the species can currently be considered to be a migrant only.
