ABUNDANCE
Common.

HABITAT
May be found in any type of woodland (dehesas, riparian copses, pinewoods, Sweet- Chestnut woods, Cork-Oak woods, olive groves), as well as Mediterranean scrub with scattered trees.

SEASONAL BEHAVIOUR
Like the former species it is commoner in post-breeding passage. 

DISTRIBUTION
Although it is not easy to detect, frequents the whole Sierra Morena.

COMMENTS
The Garden Warbler is one of the species that is particularly fond of figs during its migratory stopovers, feeding alongside others like Whitethroat, Golden Oriole and Azure- Winged Magpie.
