STATUS
Migrant.

ABUNDANCE
Uncommon.

HABITAT
Recorded in all wooded areas, sometimes also in scrub with scattered trees.

SEASONAL BEHAVIOUR
SPasses through on both passages but easier to pick up in spring (especially April) when singing.

DISTRIBUTION
Equal chances of being seen in all four provinces.

COMMENTS
Reports of breeding birds in some areas (sierras of Hornachuelos and Aracena, Parque Natural Sierra Norte de Seville) are probably just wishful interpretations of late-singing migrants in April and May, judging from the specific surveys we have carried out subsequently.
