HABITAT
Breeds on human constructions, mainly on large bridges. There are also colonies on churches and convents (both in town and country) and on some mines.

SEASONAL BEHAVIOUR
Seen all year.

DISTRIBUTION
Rare in Huelva, where it breeds only on some bridges of Zufre, right on the border with Seville. Also scarce in Sierra Morena Sevillana, with some colonies on bridges and constructions along Rivera de Huéznar and its tributaries (San Pedro, Arroyo Castillejo) and some records of big flocks feeding in Llanos de Guaditoca. In Córdoba breeds on bridges over the rivers Bembézar and Guadalquivir, dams, some towns and abandoned buildings among cereal-growing campiña and olive groves. In Jaén seen in towns like Andújar and Marmolejo, on bridges over the Jándula and el Guadalquivir rivers with colonies on abandoned farmsteads in the campiña.
