SE-12. Canyon of the River Viar

This lookout point gives stunning views over the northern part of Ca帽贸n del Viar, a canyon of high cliffs and scrub carved out by the River Viar. Likely sightings include the locally scarce Egyptian Vulture plus Griffon Vulture, Golden Eagle, Short-Toed Eagle and Black Stork, with occasional appearances by Imperial- and Bonelli鈥檚-Eagle too. The strong supporting cast includes Rock Bunting, Dartford Warbler, Southern Grey Shrike and Thekla Lark. The area also boasts the biggest Juniper copse in western Sierra Morena.
