This short, easy, well-equipped walk crosses varied scenery of riparian woodland, a fine Cork-Oak wood and scrubland. As such, it offers many insights into how Mediterranean woodland works as an ecosystem. It runs parallel to the Arroyo de La Rabilarga, a rippling tributary of the Bemb茅zar. Golden Oriole, Siskin, Nuthatch, Red-Rumped Swallow and the introduced Waxbill are all frequent at different times of year, with chances too of lucking into Europe鈥檚 smallest woodpecker, the Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.
