Barranco de Valdeazores has fascinated botanists and naturalists for over a century now. Though it runs predominantly through woodland, this trail ends up at the spectacular lookout point over the Monumento Natural de Los 脫rganos, one of the geological gems of Andalusia. Here breed Coal Tit, Iberian Chiffchaff and Firecrest. Raptor sightings might include Golden Eagle, Imperial Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Cinereous Vulture, Peregrine Falcon and Short-Toed Eagle. White-Rumped Swift, Alpine Swift and Red Squirrel are other tidbits of this trail. More information in the book Birding and Nature Trails in Sierra Morena de Ja茅n.
