This short trail takes us through one of the prime beauty spots in Sierra Morena, where rocks, cliffs, crags and plantlife all vie for our attention. In recent years it has become one of the few spots in Andalusia where the Wallcreeper regularly winters. Easier sightings might be other rock-nesting birds like Crag Martin, Rock Bunting, Kestrel, Black Redstart, Golden Eagle and Blue Rock Thrush; Alpine Accentor and Black Wheatear sometimes turn up too. Another strong suit is the small population of Spanish Ibex. More information on this trail in the book Birding and Nature Trails in Sierra Morena de Jaén.
