Monte Burguillos is a massif rearing over sprawling olive groves and cropland near Bailén. Lying on the banks of the River Rumblar, this public estate lends itself to all sorts of uses and serves as a shining example of how to combine and develop the various ways of enjoying and studying nature in today’s society. Great-Spotted Cuckoo, Orphean Warbler, Black Stork, Siskin, Hawfinch and Golden Oriole coincide with several orchid species plus beautiful butterflies like Spanish Festoon and a rich population of herps.
